CONCERT IN THE PARK
ROBBY VEE
& his Rock-n-Roll Caravan
Saturday, June 21
6:30-8:00 p.m.
Robby Vee is what the coalition calls "a rock 'n' roll original." His concert will be "an evening of electricity and music hosted by Second Generation Rockabilly Hall of Fame rocker Robby Vee," according to the coalition. Vee is known for combining elements of his vast repertoire of songs that bridge generational gaps from early rock 'n' roll to American music today. "Get ready for this high-energy trip to the 50s and 60s!" says the coalition.
The Festival is located on Park Road and Sinclair Lewis Park on June 21 and 22 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The artist vendors will be set up and ready for sales while the chalk artists will be creating live art. The public is welcome to view the art as it is being created.
Gratuities Accepted Please feel free to support the chalk artists with tips and donations during the festival. Each artist square will have a tip jar and/or QR code for you to show appreciation for their work and all donations go directly to the artist.
What happens it if rains? Rain or shine, the festival will go on! If it is a complete washout, there will be a notice posted on the website as well as our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Will parking be available? The festival will be held on Park Road between 71 and Oak St and in Sinclair Lewis Park. There is parking in Sinclair Lewis Park lot, city administration lot, and the Sinclair Lot by Sinclair Lewis Avenue and Oak Street. All three are just a short walk away! Park on any open side street.
Am I allowed to take pictures of the artwork? Absolutely! Take as many pictures as you want. There will be opportunities to take interactive pictures of the 3D creations once the artist has finished. The artist’s social media tags will be on our website and on their laminated bio next to their creation. Be sure to tag the artist and us!
